CLYDE VALLEY GREYHOUND STADIUM

The Scottish town of Motherwell has had a couple of greyhound tracks in the past, the earliest of which was at Clyde Valley and situated at 4° 0' W 55° 47' N. The track at the Sports Ground on Airbles Road opened its gates for the first time on 22nd July 1932.

The independently run track was popular and remained open for almost 30 years, closing in December 1959.
